Just about every year since ‘05 the wife and I hit the road for Elkhart Lake, WI to take in the AMA Superbike weekend. The weather can be pretty unpredictable in early June around the midwest…
‘08 – torrential rain and flooding in Indiana kept us from leaving our neighborhood and we missed the races!
‘09 – 39 degrees and rain greeted us when we reached southern Milwaukee. Race day warmed up to the low 50s, but it was windy and a bit cool. Larry Pegram beat Mladin straight up to take his first win in nearly a decade btw. 
2011 was a different story as the weather was gorgeous with partial cloud cover and low 80s.
